    Line stroke svg

Wondering how to create onScroll stroke svg like in example: http://brightmedia.pl. Tried to create it with svg path but did not realized how to make it responsible. This is my site http://mylinks.rocks/trackbox/testing2.html.
  2. Hi everyone, I recently made an animation which recently had quite good feedback from the codepen community (https://codepen.io/alaricweb/pen/vWxPyp ). I too feel like there is something very cool in this animation but the perf are really bad on mobile. I don't blame GSAP for that it's pretty amazing already to be able to have such result with that few lines ! But now i want to be able to use this kind of animation in a real website but with that impact on perf it's not imaginable. I don't think i can improve the perf significantly with SVG only, if i animate less stroke, the result won't be as cool. So i'm currently looking to an alternative to have the same animation but with improved perfs ! After some research i'm starting to think that animating inside a canvas is my best option. I feel like PixiJS could be a good option with some tricks, maybe threeJS too. I saw @OSUblake pen in which we can see that he is using GSAP morphing inside the canvas and the perf are just incredible compared to mine. You can see for yourself here. So if any of you know if it's possible to have my animation inside a canvas and with what method i could try to make it better i'd be thankful for some guidelines. Alaric

    Beginner drawSVG question

Hi there, first post on the forums. Excited to be using Greensock, it's been great so far. I'm trying to accomplish 2 drawSVG staggered animations on an SVG path using Timeline: 1) Draw the stroke 2) Draw the fill If I combine them into one Tweenmax.from() call, it works great. However, when I stagger them, the 2nd from() call where I'm passing fill is trying to redraw the stroke as well. Is it possible to let the call know to ignore the stroke in the 2nd from() call? Thanks!
  4. I want the SVG animation that I found on the left to have the same effect on the right element. What am I doing wrong?!!?!!?! This is driving me crazy -- why is there a double stroke effect? How can I fix this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Animating Stroke / Multiple Strokes

Hi I have simple text logo from Adobe illustrator with two strokes (done via the appearance panel in Ai). http://codepen.io/pauljohnknight/pen/xOPvAQ I want to play around with animating the outer stroke and inner letter – what is the best way to do this with Greensock? I’ve hit a bit of a wall (I am comfortable using tweens and timelines using GSAP, but up until now I have done so on divs / text / DOM elements etc). In the CodePen example above I’ve put a simple tween on the letter m, but can’t seem to work out from googling how to target the stroke on a multi-stroke svg (say, for a color or opacity animation). Any help would be awesome. Paul. P.S When I tweak the inline SVG code it lets me manually change the outer-stroke for the letter a, but not for other letters which is also confusing me? When I check the Ai file every letter is stacked correctly on individual layers etc and without any excess sub-layers.
  6. Hi, I'm trying to reveal a dashed line with drawsvg using a mask but the mask position seems to be off. I can increase the stroke-width for lines that don't overlap but when they do overlap in the codepen example, I need a more precise line. Anybody encounter this and know whats up? Thanks!
  7. Hello, I'm mystified as to why the stroke on the red bar in my pen doesn't animate like the stroke on the white bar. The only difference I can see are the coordinates of the lines. Thanks
