  1. This is not a question. I couldn't find any examples doing exactly what I wanted, so I thought I'd share my demo solution with the GSAP forum for future SVG hackers. ? This demonstrates a method for animating an SVG <path> by animating an object of JS variables which then get set as the d attribute as a string of coordinates using GSAP's onUpdate callback. Animating JS variables. Animating SVG <path> points and beziers. Interactive path points with range input controls. Selectable animations with checkbox controls. Function for creating child timelines and and calling a master timeline dynamically. All feedback welcome, I never stop learning! Hope this helps somebody. ?
  2. Hi, I'm new to this area of gsap, I was looking for projects that had Threejs and Gsap as tools. Reference: https://architect-opinion.art I was thinking of doing something similar/prototype for the above reference. His concept of "camera" following a path that was "modeled", "generated", and having some interactions within that "trip". But I don't know where to start, and I don't know the "names" people give to this kind of programming or modeling inside threejs and Gsap. Could you help me find the "names" (3d scene, scene interaction) of these codes and where possibly they are done in threejs or gsap?
  3. We haven't set up a codepen yet, but included is the visual design created for a web-based game to develop. We found a few examples of GSAP getting actually somewhat close to how it should work, but we find it hard to find a push in the right direction when it comes to intersections in the path below. The marker (avatar on A) should be able to move to points B and C when the player clicks one of those points. From point B, the player should be able to move to C or E From point C, the player should be able to move to B or D or E. Etcetera. Is this actually possible using GSAP with the MorphSVGPlugin and BezierPath?
  4. Hi! I've come across this especially unique combination of effects, and have been left in both awe and pain trying to figure out how to replicate such a complex stringes of elements. I've already done some research to figure out the basics of its mechanics, but as someone new to coding, my understanding is limited still. The site and effects in question are: Home Page - https://panamaera.fr/ 404 Page - https://panamaera.fr/404 About Page - https://panamaera.fr/about There seem to be two effects at play. A Canvas over images/videos, that generates a smokey distortion effect, rendering the smoke depending on what visual is underneath the canvas. The Canvas remains active between pages, registering a page change just like a visual change in a video, creating the fading smoke distortion transition between pages and their visual material. A mouse hover effect with smoke & distortion. The smoke is moving in synch with the Canvas' smoke, while the pointer clears the Canvas from over the image and lightens it a bit. On here https://www.awwwards.com/sites/panamaera, the site is tagged as having WebGL, GSAP Animation, ReactJS, GLSL used on it, however I'm not looking to learn everything about these tools, only whats specifically needed to recreate these effects. As I am looking to learn to recreate this effect, my questions are: What coding methods and techniques are they based on (within the world of the above mentioned tools)? What are the exact & relevant coding topics I should look for education on? How would you go about recreating these effects?
  5. hello everyone, we are looking for a developer to make interactive animation like on https://www.apple.com/es/homepod/ We need to make the same smooth animation of the video where the bike will spin. the roller should smoothly begin and smoothly stop "children's slide" write suggestions on Glapacha@gmail.com https://www.apple.com/es/homepod/
  6. Hello, I am looking to have this online calculator developed into something more like this. The aim of the form is to capture leads so I would like to capture their email before showing the results. Email validation is preferable so they can't receive results with a bogus email. Details captured to be sent to hubspot via API or zapier integration. We have an in-house graphic designer who can provide graphic assets. If this sounds like a project that you may be able to assist with, I would love to hear from you! Marcus marcus.v@space7.com.au
  7. Just thought I'd share some banner examples from my day-job https://www.andyfoulds.co.uk/banners/html5_banners/ Reckon every one has GSAP to thank to some extent! Andy___F
  8. Hi all. Ive been using Greensock in creating animated banners for over 2years now. I know basic HTML and CSS coding with little knowledge of JS. Im able to "hack" a project and basically copying JS codes from other designers and implementing into my banner but Im pretty stuck trying to create interactive banner for a project. I would like to create something like the below MREC. Can someone please share how this is done? Can this be done via multiple timeline with onclick function? Any help and guidance is appreciated! cheers!
  9. For Sizmek platform , can i use user click through button on first frame to show the disclaimer pop up window on top and close button to see the first frame ?
  10. Hi, I am new here and new to greensock as well. One of my friend referred me to this awesome kit. I want to create an animation where there will be 2 different images (similar like before and after image effects with color and black & white image) but unlike, here it will be 2 different images and not a grayscale (so css property may not work). The second image will cover up/load circular motion. here is the demo I created http://codepen.io/bgthedev/pen/wzrGxJ/ In this demo the problem is, as you see, it is noticeable that I have used 2 separate images which is not proper. Is there a way to create such animation? except clip-path because that does not work with firefox Thanks in advance! BG
